Fighting to preserve antibiotics.
The Antibiotic Resistance Action Center (ARAC) was created to preserve the effectiveness of antibiotics by engaging in research, advocacy, and science-based policy. ARAC is comprised of epidemiologists, microbiologists, communications and policy experts focused on finding out-of-the box solutions to combat antibiotic resistance.
The Antibiotic Resistance Action Center at George Washington University (ARAC has received a grant to expand our battle against antibiotic resistance. We are working with a wide range of organizations, coalitions and individuals to combat misinformation about antibiotic use in food animal production and to increase market-based change through procurement and advocacy.
